Right now as I write, a good friend and dedicated triathlete, Dave Clamp, is seeking to set a new world record and raise money for the 10MillionMetres campaign for £1million for Parkinson’s research. I first met Dave when he volunteered to accompany me on the Europe135; as having PD meant that sometimes you need someone there to make sure you don’t get in a jam and also to get me moving when the leg does it’s thing. Dave did a sterling job and gave me the right encouragement to make it 131 miles! Also he’s said that he’s up for the trans-europe run in 2011. In short, he’s a terrific guy who needs your support.
